December most definately supprised most of us operators , the previous December might have lasted longer however clients did not do as much. This December in St Lucia once again was full to the brim and clients did take part in the safaris available , both domestic and foreighn. The most popular being Hluhluwe and the night drives into the Isimangaliso Wetlands Park.

As for the World Cup Soccer yes we have received numerous enquiries and we are sure that once agian St Lucia will be a top destination inbetween matches.

What happened to December , it has come and gone with a blink of a eye . The quaint little town of St Lucia ( Isimangaliso Wetlands Park ) has had a great season ( recession ? ) all of the accommodation operators reported good occupancy and most tour operators also had very good occupancy . The ability to stay in a small coastal town with all the needed restuarants , shops and of course the Parks that surround us give all visitors the chance to see just what the area has to offer. In a radius of just 50 km one can see Whales breeching , snorkel in tropical water year round , Big 5 , and an incredible amount of smaller interesting animals. The area offers some of the best touring options in the country.
